The River Mice started July in Chesapeake, paddling the waterways around the Deep Creek locks. Jerry set things up with the Ruritan Club, and twelve paddlers met in the back parking lot in the late morning.
Jerry, George, Bev, Jeanine, Jim, Brad, Barb, Jeff, Chris, Betsy, Connie and Ed put in for a fun midday Sunday event.
Not only is paddling a great physical activity, and a chance to see some of the best nature has to offer in our area, it is a chance to chat with friends, and even catch up with people who have been away for a while.
